Tiny Dreamers Ballet & Tap (Ages 2-4)

Introduce your little star to the world of dance with our Tiny Dreamers Ballet & Tap class! Specifically designed for ages 2-4, this class creates a fun and engaging space where young dancers can explore basic ballet and tap movements while developing coordination, rhythm, and a love for dance.

Little Dreamers Ballet & Tap (Ages 5-7)

In this engaging class, young dancers will dive into the basics of ballet and tap, using creative movement, rhythmic exercises, and fun choreography to enhance coordination, balance, and musicality.
If your little dreamer is eager to explore the joy of dance while building confidence, coordination, and rhythm with a solid technical foundation, this class is the perfect fit!
Lyrical, Jazz & Tap (Ages 8-11)

This exciting class blends the expressiveness of lyrical dance, the energy of jazz, and the rhythm of tap, offering a versatile foundation for dancers ages 8-11. Students will improve their technique, express emotions through movement, and gain performance skills.

Bee Bop/Hip Hop Class

Tumbling Class

This class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination by teaching basic tumbling skills. Students will master essential moves like forward rolls, backbends, handstands, and cartwheels, progressing to more advanced skills as they grow stronger and more flexible.

Marching Class (Mardi Gras Edition)

Adaptive Dance: A Class for Dancers with Special Needs

This inclusive class offers a supportive, fun environment where dancers of all abilities can enjoy movement. Through music, creative expression, and structured dance activities, students will develop coordination, confidence, and social skills, all at their own pace.
The instructor tailors the class to meet each dancer’s unique needs, ensuring every participant has an enriching and positive experience.

The following classes are open to all dancers ages 8 and older, but they are mandatory for all members of the S5PA Competition Company.

Tap Class
​
Tap class focuses on building rhythm, coordination, and musicality as dancers learn basic to advanced tap steps like shuffles, flaps, and time steps. Students will refine their footwork, improve timing, and create clarity in their tap sounds while developing both technical skills and artistic expression.

Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz & Technique (Ages 8-11)

This class merges the emotive quality of lyrical dance, the creative freedom of contemporary, and the strong technical foundation required for both. Designed for dancers ages 8-11, it emphasizes strength, flexibility, and emotional expression through movement, all while mastering fundamental dance techniques.
Perfect for dancers looking to express themselves and build a solid technical foundation.

Strength & Conditioning / Stretch Class (Ages 8 & Up)
​
This class combines strength training with stretching exercises to improve flexibility, strength, and overall fitness. Dancers will work on building endurance, preventing injuries, and improving their physical performance for better dance practice.
If your dancer wants to boost strength, flexibility, and fitness, recover faster, and lay a solid foundation for their training, this class is for them!
Introduction to Ballet Class

Perfect for new dancers, this class introduces the fundamental principles of ballet. Dancers will focus on developing coordination, strength, and flexibility while learning the basic positions, movements, and terminology of ballet.
An excellent way to start the ballet journey and build the foundation for future dance success!
Ballet/Pre-Pointe Class
​
This class prepares dancers for the transition to pointe work by focusing on building the strength, flexibility, and control needed for safe pointe technique.
Dancers in this class must take at least 2.5 hours of ballet each week to develop the necessary strength and technique for a successful pre-pointe experience.

Ballet/Pointe Class
​
Designed for advanced dancers, this class is all about refining ballet technique and transitioning fully to pointe work. Dancers will perfect classical movements, improve strength, flexibility, and alignment, and work on developing the technical skills required for dancing en pointe.
​
Pointe dancers are required to take a minimum of 3 hours of ballet each week to ensure they’re ready for the artistry and strength required for pointe.
